Belgorod, Russia

Russia's TASS, cited by Reuters, said a Ukrainian strike on Friday killed two people and injured four, including a child, in the Belgorod region. A separate Kaluga drone attack injured nine.

A Ukrainian strike killed two people and injured four, including a child, in Russia's Belgorod region on Friday, the state news agency TASS said, citing local officials. Reuters reported the TASS account and did not publish an independent casualty count.

TASS also said a drone attack in the central region of Kaluga injured nine people. Reuters did not name the places inside Belgorod or Kaluga where the munitions fell.

On the Ukrainian side of the border the same morning, regional defence official Ivan Fedorov said on Telegram that Russian bombs killed one person and injured seven, including a child, in Zaporizhzhia. That figure is a Ukrainian official's statement, separate from the Belgorod toll.

Belgorod has been hit repeatedly because it borders Ukraine. Friday's report is a new casualty claim, not a restatement of Thursday's strike on buses in Kramatorsk.

Both tolls come from officials on the side that was struck, relayed by Reuters. Neither has been confirmed here by an independent count.
