Bermuda police and the US Coast Guard named a mother and son and four Canadian crew members from a Gulfstream air ambulance that vanished off Nantucket early Saturday. The Coast Guard suspended the search on Sunday.

Authorities have named all six people aboard a medical jet that disappeared off Nantucket early Saturday while flying from Bermuda toward Boston. The US Coast Guard suspended the search on Sunday after finding debris and no survivors.

Bermuda police identified the passengers as Marilyn Lavonne Bean, 66, and her son Sergio Wayne Lottimore, 41, both Bermudian nationals. The Coast Guard named the four Canadian crew members as Philip Gregory Childerhose, Thomas Henry Farquhar, Sarah Jane Paton and Jolene Beth Weir. The aircraft was a Gulfstream G100 operated by Latitude Air Ambulance of Hamilton, Ontario. The company said the four employees were presumed to have died.

Officials said one person was the patient and one was a family member. They had not said which of the two passengers was traveling for care. WBUR, citing the Associated Press, said the jet went missing around 1 a.m. Saturday. Searchers later found a debris field. The Coast Guard said the search covered more than 4,400 square miles over about 66 hours.

Air-traffic audio indicated the crew reported electrical problems and declared an emergency as a storm approached the coast, WBUR reported. Canada's Transportation Safety Board said it would send investigators in the coming days to help search for and recover the aircraft.

No wreckage recovery or cause finding had been announced by Tuesday evening. The operator and the Coast Guard both treated the six people as presumed dead after the search was called off.
