Dalyan’s first International Pomegranate Festival runs October 8-11, combining pomegranate harvesting and gastronomy with cultural activities around the delta.

Dalyan’s first International Pomegranate Festival opens October 8 and runs through October 11 in Muğla, according to GoTürkiye. The event puts the region’s pomegranate production at the center of an autumn program combining food, culture and travel.

The schedule includes pomegranate harvesting, local-product stalls, gastronomy events, panels, talks and workshops. Concerts, folk dances, children’s activities and photography competitions are also planned.

GoTürkiye highlights boat journeys through the Dalyan delta and nearby attractions including the ancient ruins of Kaunos and İztuzu Beach.

The festival gives visitors a reason to experience Dalyan outside peak summer while connecting a local agricultural product with regional food culture and tourism.
