Fujitsu said on October 27 it will begin providing a cyber-defence solution that continuously maps internet-facing IT assets and threats, assesses risk by business criticality, and tracks countermeasures, built around its Cyber Security Nerve Center opened October 1.
Fujitsu said on Tuesday it will begin providing a solution to help organisations strengthen their cyber defences, based on the cybersecurity strategy it announced in August 2026. The service is aimed at companies struggling to identify which vulnerabilities matter most with limited staff.
The solution brings several steps into one continuous process: identifying internet-accessible IT assets and threats, assessing risk in light of asset information and business criticality, prioritising countermeasures, supporting cyberattack response, and visualising how far implementation has progressed.
It combines existing services including Attack Surface Management, which continuously identifies externally visible IT assets and vulnerabilities, and Cyber Threat Intelligence, which collects threat information relevant to each customer, with practical knowledge from Fujitsu's Customer Zero initiatives — its programme of applying its own internal cyber-defence practices.
Fujitsu said the approach helps customers spot assets they may not recognise or manage, including credentials circulating externally, and to prioritise higher-risk targets based not only on technical severity but on the systems and information involved and the potential business impact.
The work is centred on the Cyber Security Nerve Center that Fujitsu established on October 1, 2026. By the end of fiscal year 2026, which ends March 31, Fujitsu plans to add services including AI-powered incident investigation, AI vulnerability assessment, AI red-team operations and services linked to security operations centres.
Fujitsu, headquartered in Kawasaki and listed in Tokyo, reported consolidated revenues of 3.5 trillion yen for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, and describes itself as Japan's top digital services company by market share.
