S&P 500 futures were flat and Nasdaq 100 contracts dipped after a record session, while Europe's Stoxx 600 ended a three-day rise as oil climbed on Middle East tanker attacks.
A stock rally stalled and global bonds fell on Wednesday as attacks on tankers in the Middle East pushed oil prices higher, Bloomberg reported in a markets wrap updated at 8:40 a.m. UTC.
Futures on the S&P 500 were unchanged after the index set a record. Nasdaq 100 contracts were down 0.2 percent. Europe's Stoxx 600 ended a three-day run of gains.
In Asia, SK Hynix fell nearly 3 percent ahead of a lockup expiry on its American depositary receipts, Bloomberg said. The wrap did not give a fresh Brent or WTI price in the summary lines.
The move follows a Tuesday session in which the S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed at records, according to a separate CNBC-TV18 report on that session. Wednesday's futures action is a pause, not a confirmed cash-session close.
Bloomberg tied the stall to oil and bonds, not to a single company earnings release.
