Finance ministry secretary general Robert Leonard Marbun said the draft presidential regulation moving Tax Court administration to the Supreme Court is ready for legal harmonisation.
Indonesia's Ministry of Finance has finished a draft presidential regulation on moving guidance of the Tax Court's organisation, administration and finances from the ministry to the Supreme Court, DDTCNews reported from a Friday briefing in Jakarta. Secretary general Robert Leonard Marbun said consultations are complete and the draft is ready for the next stage.
Harmonisation will be handled by the Directorate General of Legislation at the Ministry of Law. Marbun said enactment would follow that review. The ministry held a public consultation on the draft on 23 September.
The transfer follows Constitutional Court decision 26/PUU-XXI/2023, which requires the shift to be carried out in stages and no later than 31 December 2026, DDTCNews reported. Friday's step is readiness for harmonisation, not enactment.
DDTCNews is a specialist tax outlet quoting the secretary general at the Our State Budget press conference. No presidential signature was reported.
A later official gazette text could differ from the briefing account.
