Carly Rae Jepsen is adding a vinyl release of eight deluxe tracks from Day and Night.
Carly Rae Jepsen is expanding the physical release of her latest album Day and Night with a vinyl edition of eight additional tracks. Billboard Canada reported that the deluxe material will receive a Record Store Day Black Friday pressing after its digital release.
The release gives Canadian fans a physical format for new material while Record Store Day continues to create limited-edition demand around established artists.
The announcement comes alongside other Canadian exclusives, including vinyl editions tied to Barenaked Ladies catalog milestones.
The strategy reflects continued demand for collector-focused physical music products even as streaming remains dominant.
Limited editions give artists and labels another way to create events around new releases and catalog anniversaries.
